Newmarket July Course

A day at the races. Pretty dresses and fascinators, an excuse to dress up nicely, even in the rain.

There have been races at the Newmarket courses for over 350 years. Many don’t realize that Newmarket is actually the birthplace of horse racing as a sport – so to participate, to be a small part of that history, was extra special.

I hope we can return on a sunny day – if we do, I’m definitely going to plan ahead this time and make sure that I take advantage of the opportunity. And by that, I mean that, next time, I am absolutely going to wear a gigantic, ridiculous hat.
